Location: Darwin, BB3 2E3
Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real difference? Join our team as a Plant Operative at, Our client is a leading recycling and waste management company dedicated to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
4on / 4 off: 12-hour shifts
Pay Rate:
Day shifts: £12.76 per hour
4 on / 4 off shifts: £13.46 per hour
Saturday Overtime £15.30
Overtime on Sundays - £18.36
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor plant machinery to ensure efficient processing of recycling and waste materials.
* Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any issues to the supervisor.
* Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
* Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
* Support the team in achieving production targets and maintaining operational efficiency.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role or environment is preferred but not essential—training will be provided.
* A strong commitment to safety and following standard operating procedures.
* Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively.
* Flexibility to work either shift pattern as required.
