Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant
Full-time, long term opportunity starting ASAP
Work with GCSE and A-Level students as a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant
Provide support for students falling beind targeted grades as well as students with additional needs
Must have 2:1 or above in a Maths related degree
Pay up to £520 per week as a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant
Opportunity to train as a Maths teacher with the school from 2025

Work in a modern secondary school located in the north of Liverpool

At this successful school, as a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant you will be moving throughout the Maths department to match your demand/experienced needed. You will work as a Teaching Assistant in Maths classes throughout all key stages, and you will often be running small intervention groups and 1:1 sessions for pupils who might be benefit from further class support. To aid your progression as a Teaching Assistant, the senior leadership team are keen to assess you and help develop any areas you are struggling with to continue your professional development and hopefully one day become an outstanding Maths Teacher. An ongoing task during your roles as a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant will be to support the teacher in planning and preparing lessons, contributing innovative and fresh ideas to further drive engagement and attainment.

This Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant position involves supporting in the classroom within the Maths department. You will support KS3 and GCSE pupils in small groups and revision sessions ahead of exam season. In this post you will be working alongside a dynamic team and working in different areas within the school.

The school is located just fifteen minutes outside of Liverpool city centre. There is excellent transport links as well as a staff car park for drivers. The school is a large, purpose-built building with excellent facilities. There is a specific emphasis on STEM across the school, meaning plenty of opportunities to develop and grow as an education practitioner.
