BI Test Analyst – Nottingham / Hybrid
£40,000 - £46,000 + 9% bonus, 35-hour work week and great benefits
 
This profitable and growing professional services business require a BI Test Analyst to assist in developing and establishing QA standards and measures for the BI & IT services within the company. You will also gather and analyse data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements.
 
The role will be hybrid, with the expectation of at least 1-2 days per week in their central Nottingham office.
 
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will understand and analyse data processes within a BI / MI environment, verifying and revising QA standards as needed. As a BI Test Analyst, you will assist in the design, coordination and execution of all IT testing including system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing.

Technical skills

Experience in the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for BI, software, services, and infrastructure testing.
Proven experience in a BI / QA role
T-SQL
Ad hoc query programs, automated testing tools and reporting software.
Data warehousing and ETL testing processes.
Sata analysis, data verification and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in testing SSRS and Power BI reports as well as SSAS Tabular models
Agile/Scrum
