About the role:

We are looking for a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant who will be an integral part of the classroom environment, assisting the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning space. You will work part-time, focusing on boosting student progress and providing key interventions to help children catch up with the curriculum. Your work will involve both one-on-one support and small group work to ensure every child reaches their potential, with particular attention to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

This is a rewarding role, perfect for someone who has a passion for early years education, enjoys working closely with young learners, and wants to contribute to their personal and academic growth. You will also support in fostering social skills, ensuring the development of the whole child.

• Experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting (desirable but not essential).
• A passion for early childhood education and supporting student development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.

• A willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and activities.
• Provide targeted support through boosters and interventions to help students with their academic progress.
• Offer one-on-one and small group support for children with SEN and those needing additional assistance.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and motivated.
• Help students develop their social and emotional skills, supporting their overall well-being.
