• Foster an environment that promotes equality, diversity, and the rights of all young people to be recognized as learners and treated with respect
• Emphasize support and empowerment of young people
• Develop a deeper understanding of Special Education issues and the values of Simply Education, demonstrating these in all aspects of the role
• Provide high-quality support in all facets of the role
• Participate in physical interventions and personal care routines as required
We Are Looking For Candidates Who Are:
• Willing and able to pursue formal qualifications, attend training, and take responsibility for their own development—all fully funded by Simply Education
• Passionate and compassionate towards children and young people with additional needs
• Ambitious and determined to overcome barriers to learning
• Enthusiastic about outdoor and community learning
• Capable of recognizing potential rather than focusing on disabilities
• Fully committed to safeguarding values and procedures
• Proactive and solution-focused creative thinkers
• Able to work both collaboratively as a team member and independently with confidentiality across various settings
• Possess excellent communication skills, particularly in relation to students' communication needs
• Skilled in understanding and delivering effective education and support in line with identified needs
• Educated to at least Level 2 (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Benefits:
• Join an accredited, highly skilled specialist team
• Be part of a growing team with shared values and vision
• Opportunities for meaningful career development
• Fully funded training and qualifications
• Life assurance
• Enhanced pension scheme (from October)
• Perk Box offering high street discounts
• Employee assistance programme
• Bike to work scheme
