We have two fabulous Conveyancing Paralegal opportunities with a highly successful, expanding law firm

Coventry City Centre (hybrid working considered following successful probation)

Salary up to £30,000 per annum + bonus, and excellent earning potential

We are seeking experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegals to join the busy residential conveyancing team of a forward-thinking, modern law firm in Coventry city centre (free parking provided).

This is an opportunity to work in a friendly, supportive environment with a well-established, Lexcel and CQS accredited, Legal 500-recognised law firm, who are very committed to training and development of all staff to gain industry-specific qualifications and progress their legal careers. 

Training contracts may be available to eligible employees in the longer term. SQE and CILEx training  may also be accommodated,

The position will involve:

Supporting a qualified fee earner, in all aspects of their caseload, with a view to running your own caseload and becoming qualified in the longer term, under careful supervision
Taking instructions from clients and preparing detailed attendance notes
Preparing and reviewing contracts and supporting title documentation
Initiating and reviewing searches
Dealing with pre-contract enquiries
Drafting of documents, letters, and reports 
Preparing and updating completion statements
Processing exchange of contracts and post completion documentation
Preparing and submitting SDLT forms
General administrative dutiesSuitable candidates will have

A law degree
LPC/LLM (preferred but not essential)
Previous experience in supporting a residential conveyancing team with all aspects of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
A sound understanding of the full conveyancing process 
A strong desire to progress your career to a fee earning role This is a permanent position, working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday. The role is office based, however hybrid working may be accommodated in the longer term, following a satisfactory training/probation period.
