Our client, a highly reputable architectural practice, are seeking a talented Architect to join their expanding team to work on a range of projects within their Canterbury Studio.

The successful Architect will evidence keen attention to detail and high-quality examples of work. Architects with excellent design and presentation skills as well as an enthusiasm for producing work of the highest quality. This is an opportunity for an Architect to join an award-winning architectural and heritage consultancy with a commitment to quality, innovation, and diversity.

Collaboration is central to their culture, providing opportunities to work on some of the finest buildings; from meticulous heritage and conservation schemes to bold contemporary design.

Architect Position Overview

Delivery of architectural projects through all work / RIBA stages
Work on an exciting range of conservation / historic buildings
Occasional site visits
Submission of planning / building regs
Help with and coordinate the design and production of comprehensive design information
Prepare and produce plans and documents for statutory approvals
Participate in team meetings

Architect Position Requirements

ARB or RIBA Qualified Architect with 1 + years' experience within the UK
Excellent design and drawing skills
Experience or enthusiasm working with historic buildings
Proven experience working on all RIBA stages
Have the ability to work successfully within a team
Personable, confident and with a strong sense of team spirit
Competent in technical detailing
Knowledge of Revit highly advantageous, although training can be provided for those without knowledge of the software

Architect Position Remuneration

Competitive salary £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
