Religious Studies Teacher - Derbyshire - January start

Prospero Teacher are seeking to a passionate Religious Studies teacher to join a team at a secondary school in North Derbyshire. The role will start after the Christmas break and will continue until the end of the academic year on a full time basis.

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Religious Studies and will be able to motivate, elevate and challenge students to produce the highest quality work and achieve high academic standards.

The ideal candidate:

Has a proven History to secure excellent pupil results in Religious Studies GCSE exams Can inspire and lead high quality teaching, learning and assessment Is dynamic and an ambitious practitioner, who can build on the success of the subject and ensure good progress for all pupils Has experience of effective teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural and academic needs.

Minimum rate of pay £162.31

8am - 4pm Monday to Friday

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all required vetting checks

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide a minimum of two professional teaching related references

up to date safe guarding training (essential, training can be provided)

Up to date prevent awareness training (essential, training can be provided)
