Production Manager

A leader in advanced technology solutions, in the Swansea area, are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their team. You will lead and optimize the production site, ensuring quality standards and efficient processes. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations to keep everything running smoothly and meet safety, cost, and quality targets, all while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
Lead daily production operations, ensuring safe and efficient processes
Meet health and safety, quality, and productivity targets
Identify and implement process improvements, fostering a LEAN culture
Ensure compliance with GMP standards and quality procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement
Manage production schedules, budgets, and cost targets
Support team development, including training and performance appraisals
Experience:
5+ years’ managerial experience in a production environment
Strong understanding of LEAN principles and GMP standards
Effective decision-maker with solid people management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge a plus
Ideally degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering) but not essential
