Hyperion Partners is a leading recruitment agency specialising in property and real estate. We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Block Manager to join a reputable Managing Agent in London. Our client is known for their commitment to excellence and providing exceptional service to their clients.

Role Overview:

As a Block Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of residential blocks, ensuring that properties are maintained to the highest standards and that the needs of residents are met. You will play a pivotal role in fostering positive relationships with leaseholders and residents, while also liaising with contractors and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and relevant legislation.

Oversee property maintenance and repairs, coordinating with contractors to ensure timely and quality service.

Prepare and manage service charge budgets, providing transparent financial reports to residents.

Conduct regular site inspections to assess property conditions and identify areas for improvement.

Handle resident enquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally, fostering strong community relations.

Attend residents’ meetings and provide updates on property management matters.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

Requirements:

Proven experience in block management or property management within a residential context.

Strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices in property management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and stakeholders.

Proficient in financial management and budgeting.

IT literate, with experience in property management software.

A proactive and organised approach to problem-solving.
