Job Opportunity
To be responsible for the comfort and health and safety of the residents, employees and visitors by taking care of the care home building and environment, addressing issues and faults promptly, providing general maintenance and ensuring preventative measures are carried out to prevent unnecessary deterioration of the building, environment and its contents.
Essential Skills
To ensure heating plant and equipment is efficiently and effectively operated, make adjustments as necessary and report defects and malfunctions to the Home Administrator.
1. To be responsible for maintaining the security of the Home and its contents in accordance with the Company policies and procedures and the Homes current requirements.
2. To maintain accurate records including repair orders, and the heating system records book, carry out meter readings for the Home as required.
3. To check maintenance requests daily for tasks to be completed and set priorities with the Home Manager.
4. Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the home, residents, staff,
and visitors to the home manager
