Job Title: Legal Secretary

Location: Keynsham, Bristol

Contract: Permanent – Full time

Salary: £23,000.00 - £25,000.00

Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (35 hours)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary. If you have client skills and worked with Private Clients, this could be the perfect role for you.

Please Note: Working within a Private Client department is essential for this role.

Hybrid options can be available; however, you must complete a 3-month period based from the office. You must also be able to travel to Midsomer Norton on the odd occasion for staff absence.

Due to the nature of the role, you must remain professional at all times, be able to work in an impeccable organised fashion and handle difficult situations in a compassionate manner. Your day-to-day duties will be varied but will include high volumes of audio typing and dealing with inbound and outbound queries efficiently.

Responsibilities:

* Audio typing and word processing work

* Management of legal advisor's diaries including arranging meetings and appointments and updating central diary systems

* Opening files and all relevant entries required to client database

* Providing reception cover in the event of holidays or sickness when necessary

* Assistance with other administrative duties that may arise from time to time

To be considered you will need:

* Previous experience as a legal secretary

* A high level of accuracy

* To be able to communicate confidently and the ability to prioritise your workload

* Preferably 2 years’ experience of working with private clients
