An inclusive and diverse primary school in Camden is looking to expand its brilliant team and take on a Sociology Graduate - SEN Teaching Assistant. The position is a full time post starting ASAP.
Within this role as a Sociology Graduate - SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be carrying out the following:
Working alongside SEN pupils (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc) both inside and outside the classroom
Always Having continuous support of the Class Teacher
Leading 1:1 and small group intervention sessions with the pupils to aid them with both academic and social growth
Utilising the sessions to then report back to Teachers, SENCO and SLT and the about overall improvement
Creating action plans to ensure continuous growthThis role is perfect for graduates you are looking to gain valuable experience before embarking on future career prospects such as Educational Psychologist, Therapist, Youth Worker, Counsellor etc.
