Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + package

Job Summary:

The successful Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for various healthcare fit-out and refurbishment projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial success of their projects, from initial tender through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

* Tender Preparation: Prepare detailed and competitive estimates for interior fit-out and refurbishment projects.

* Cost Analysis: Analyse project requirements and specifications to determine accurate cost estimates.

* Vendor Liaison: Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.

* Documentation: Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and tender documentation.

* Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

* Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.

* Reporting: Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotations, and project costs.

* Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance estimating processes.

Requirements:

* Education: Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

* Experience: Experience in estimating within the fit-out or construction industry.

* Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.

* Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Software Proficiency: Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.

* Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
