You will be working on domestic projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works too existing doors and frames. The works will be based across West Midlands and will cover multiple areas.
What's on offer?
FIRAS Training and Accreditation provided
Fire door installations and remedial works to residential properties across the midlands
Full time, permanent role with company benefits package
£38,000 to begin increase once FIRAS trained / certified
Vehicle, fuel card, phone provided
Opportunity for personal career development and the chance to become an accredited fire door engineer
Roles and responsibilities
Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors
Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification
Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
Liaise with customers and members of the general public
The successful candidate will have:
At least two years experience working with fire doors
A strong background in carpentry and joinery
Blue CSCS with NVQ or equivalent in carpentry
Experience installing fire doors and frames
Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames
Full UK driving license
3rd party accreditation/registration under the FIRAS scheme (desired but not essential as will be provided)
