About the role:

Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is often beneficial.
A passion for working with children, patience, and strong communication skills.
Ability to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages children’s creativity and development.
Provide one-on-one support where needed, especially for children with additional learning requirements or Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Foster children’s social skills through group activities, encouraging collaboration, sharing, and positive behaviour.
Share ideas, resources, and strategies to improve the overall learning experience for children
Provide emotional support to help children feel confident, secure, and happy in the learning environment. 

Be vigilant and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns or any issues related to child protection.
The ideal candidate must:

Have the right to work within the UK
Previous experience working in a classroom setting is essential
DBS registered on the update system or willing to obtain one
Comfortable and flexible in diverse learning environments.
Have previous classroom experience and good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Marking and lesson planning are vital to this role
