Job Title: Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO)

Location: Hackney

Salary: £50,288 - £60,092 (M6 - UP3 Inner London)

Start Date: January 2025

About the role

As a Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator, you will:

Lead the school's provision for pupils with special educational needs, ensuring inclusivity and high standards of care.
Work as part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), combining strategic oversight of SEND with part-time classroom teaching responsibilities.
Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with diverse needs, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
Collaborate closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to deliver a tailored and effective SEN provision.What we're looking for

The ideal Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator will have:

A NASENCO qualification
Proven experience as a teacher, SLT member, or SENCO in a school setting.
QTS
