A Quality Technician is sought for a leading player in the Manufacturing sector, based in Barnsley. The successful candidate will be a pivotal member of the Engineering & Manufacturing department, ensuring the consistent standard of product quality.

Description
Ability to read engineering drawings/specifications.
Knowledge of ISO9001 and trained in internal auditing.
Maintaining quality manuals and associated documents.
Responsibility for the generation, monitoring and reporting of KPIs.
Resolve product related problems and supplier quality issues. Non conformance/8D reporting.
Day to day management of all Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and associated documentation.
Good communication and reporting skills between shop floor and senior management.
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IMDS, REACH, ROHS, ISO18001, ISO 14001 and Aerospace AS 9100 would be desirable. Profile
A successful Quality Technician should have:
A strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
Experience working within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a team.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
