SEND Teaching Assistant

£425-£500 per week (depending on qualifications and experience)

Starting October 2024

Vision for Education are looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to work at a school in Clacton-on-Sea. This is a full-time role, ideal for a SEND Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting students with additional learning needs and disabilities. To start in September, this position has the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.  

The role

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. Working in KS3-KS5, they must have a good understanding of the curriculum and be able to support students across core subjects.

The school

The school are seeking and engaging and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. Requirements
To be considered for the SEND Teaching Assistant position, you will:

Have experience working with students aged 11-18
Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualifications
Have excellent behaviour management skills
Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required
