Summary
We are delighted to be working on behalf of a recognised innovator in the field of manufacturing and engineering,
specialising in the design, development, testing and manufacture of integrated protective systems. They are seeking a Technician to join their Materials Laboratory.
Role:
The role involves mixing, molding, and testing rubber and other polymer-based materials, supporting both team and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mixing or Molding rubber and polymer materials.
* Operate rheology instruments and conduct physical property testing.
* Maintain laboratory equipment, manage workflows, and handle customer liaison.
* Ensure quality standards, manage lab stocks, and comply with safety regulations.
Personal Specifications:
* Methodical with strong attention to detail.
* Inquisitive and proactive, with good time management skills.
* Able to handle chemicals safely and work well in a small team.
Desirable:
* Degree in STEM (preferably chemistry) or relevant lab experience.
* Familiarity with rubber materials and industry knowledge.
Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Minimum C1 level English proficiency.
