Our client is looking for a Overhead Crane Operator to join them on a permanent basis.
Location – Markfield
Pay Rate - £12.70ph
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am until 6pm.
You must also be required to do 6 days of 6am-6pm 12 hour shifts at the end/beginning of the month.
Responsibilities:
* Unwrapping of all steel coils and ensuring allocated to correct storage bays
* Allocation of material to specified jobs
* Responsible for the feeding of the coils to the Decoiling lines
* Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is carried out
* Completing the necessary information on I Metal systems /Stock control
MUST:
* Have a Gantry Licence
* Understand Quality Management System IS09001
* Have Health and Safety awareness and knowledge of working in a heavy industrial environment.
* Be able to work to tight tolerances
* Able to work to target and schedules
* Be used to working in a Manual Handling working environment
* Eye for detail and responsibility for quality.
* Health and Safety Awareness.
* Team Player
* Flexible
* Excellent Time Keeping
