This school provides high-quality education to children and young people facing significant challenges, including Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), trauma, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
You will be working with children and young people who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. Your role will be to support their learning, help them develop their abilities, and boost their self-esteem. As a trauma-informed practitioner, you will help them feel safe, build trusting relationships, and foster a love for learning. Some students have gaps in their education, so you must be adept at adapting lessons to ensure all can achieve.
