Purchase Ledger Administrator
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 (huge career progression opportunities)
Hours: 38.5 per week (Mon-Thu: 8:30 am-5:00 pm, Fri: 8:30 am-3:30 pm)
Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career? Join a thriving business in Banbury as a Purchase Ledger Administrator. Reporting to the Group Finance Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting key business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage supplier accounts.
Process and scan invoices using document management systems.
Reconcile supplier statements, investigate discrepancies, and liaise with stakeholders.
Arrange invoice approvals and process both sterling and foreign payments.
Assist with customer debt collection and provide administrative support.
Generate reports and analysis on overdue creditors, payment patterns, and more.
Handle supplier queries professionally via phone and email.
What We're Looking For
Confidence and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
1-2 years purchase ledger administration experience
Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
Proficiency in Excel and a willingness to learn new systems.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
