* Diagnostics & Reporting: Create detailed shift reports, outlining issues, investigations, and solutions, with recommendations for future actions.

* Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance, including testing electrical terminals, inspecting panels, and calibrating equipment instrumentation.

* System Improvements: Collaborate with teams to drive improvements in machine efficiency, productivity, and safety.

* Risk Assessment & Safety: Provide expert input into safety and operational risk assessments, and contribute to engineering solutions to mitigate risks.

* Project Support: Assist the capex team with control system upgrades during equipment installation and commissioning.

* Data Utilisation: Use diagnostic tools and data collection to investigate anomalies and breakdowns, contributing to ongoing process improvements.

What You'll Bring:

* Minimum of ONC/HNC in Electrical, Controls, or Instrumentation disciplines.

* Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical and control system hardware, automation software, and PLC, HMI, and drive design applications.

* Experience with Allen Bradley Control Systems is highly desirable.

* Understanding of hydraulic systems and how automation integrates with hydraulic systems is a plus

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Project.

What We Offer:

* Competitive Salary based on experience.

* 33 Days Holiday (including bank holidays).

* Generous Employer-Matched Pension Scheme.

* Private Healthcare for you and your family.

* Flexible benefits including an electric car scheme, gym flex, and cycle to work.

* Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.
