Cnc Miller

Hello,

My client in Clacton is looking for a CNC Miller due to expansion.

You will have a proven track record as a CNC Miller and have a desire to grow with an employee focused company that is a key supplier to many blue-chip companies within the Aerospace, Marine, Automotive, Food and Medical sectors.

You will have the ability to be an efficient problem solver who can work under their own initiative whilst remaining key team player within the department, be able to set, program and run CNC Mills in a timely and efficient manner whilst maintaining high levels of attention to detail as well as ensuring that company Health & Safety is adhered to.

Main Purpose of the Job

To set and run CNC Machines.

Main Responsibilities

* Set and run CNC Mills as efficiently as possible.

* Work to Company instructions and drawings.

* Awareness of Health and Safety procedures.

Key Tasks Defined

* Set and run CNC Mills following the company’s quality and work procedures.

* In cycle running of other machinery as and when required.

* Be able to inspect own work.

* Update tooling sheets and record cycle times.

* Assist other setter operators to become more efficient.

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety.

This is not an exhaustive list, and you are required to be flexible in your approach to carrying out your duties, which may change from time to time to reflect changes in the Company’s approach to a culture of continuous improvement.

Advantageous qualifications or knowledge required

* A suitable engineering apprenticeship would be advantageous.

Experience Required

* Previous experience in a similar role
