Excell Supply is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our team. We have opportunities for day-to-day supply work beginning in September that can develop into full-time or part-time positions based on your availability. We also offer long-term roles with the possibility of becoming permanent.

What the role entails as a Teaching Assistant...
* Provide individualized support to a child aged between 3 and 11 with special educational needs.
* Assist with daily classroom activities and access to the curriculum.
* Implement and monitor tailored learning strategies.
* Record progress and provide feedback to the teacher
* Promote the child's social, emotional, and academic development.
* Adapt teaching materials to suit the child's needs.
* Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
What we look for in you as a Teaching Assistant...
* Experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity.
* Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
* Effective behaviour management techniques.
* Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic classroom environment.
* Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
* Registered or happy to register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council for Wales)
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (we can assist you in applying for this)
