Key Responsibilities:

* 🧑‍🏫 Provide one-on-one and small group mentoring for students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

* 🌍 Support students in developing effective learning habits and personal coping strategies, enabling them to re-engage with education.

* 📝 Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement individualised strategies that support each student’s well-being and academic growth.

* 🤝 Build trusting relationships with students to guide them in areas such as social skills, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour.

* 📚 Offer practical guidance and encouragement, helping students set achievable goals both academically and personally.

* 🌟 Monitor and document student progress, communicating regularly with staff, parents, and other relevant professionals.

* 🎓 Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a PRU or other alternative education setting, is highly desirable.

* 🌟 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach to working with young people.

* 🤝 A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting colleagues.
