The Role
As Operations Manager, you will be a pivotal member of the central team, working to ensure the smooth delivery of key services across our Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing and implementing a Trust Asset Management Plan for land and buildings
* Support the Trust’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2030
* Manage capital allocations effectively to support school improvements
* Collaborate with the Catering Manager to ensure quality food services
* Oversee Health & Safety compliance across all Trust sites
* Conduct and review risk assessments to ensure a safe learning environment
* Manage relationships with external agencies and stakeholders
* Deputise for the DPO and assist with data protection matters

The Ideal Candidate:
You are a strategic thinker with experience in managing operations, particularly within a fast-paced and changing environment. You will have:
* Degree or equivalent senior-level experience
* Proven ability to lead and motivate teams through change
* Strong experience managing Health & Safety culture
* Effective budget management and cost forecasting skills
* Exceptional communication and organisational abilities
* Full driving license and willingness to travel regularly
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Health & Safety qualification
* Experience in preparing and managing contracts
* Familiarity with accounting software
