This is a new and exciting role in the marketing and communications team, a blank canvas to really make this your own You will have the opportunity to build on solid foundations whilst being able to develop new thinking and strategies to support a strong, professional brand family and improve our visibility and recognition across multiple audiences. A confident communicator, you will feel at ease liaising with internal and external stakeholders and managing the programme of media and press activity. You’ll take an active role in developing the group messaging framework and ensure communication across all channels is led by strong messaging that puts the Group at the forefront. You’ll be able to maintain reports and budgets, ensuring smooth and efficient business processes whilst managing a communication style for the Group that is easily recognisable and meets our strategic and operational plans. A hands-on leader, you’ll manage and develop a team and encourage individual growth to ensure we achieve our objectives.

With a recognised communications qualification (ideally CIPR or equivalent) you will have gained experience in a similar senior leadership role. Passionate about communications, PR and marketing, you will have experience of developing and implementing messaging led communications. You’ll want to work in a collaborative and innovative environment with the ability to influence those around you and liaise with senior level management. We’re looking for an individual that can transfer their strategic skills and implement them into our business, with an appreciation of the political environment and relevant legal and regulatory frameworks (such as FCA / GDPR) you will have the skills and understanding to know how to positively influence and you will be clear on your measures of success.
