About the Role
As a Site Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth day-to-day operations of the school. Working as part of the premises team, you will ensure that the school buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard, prioritising safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Performing general maintenance and repairs across the school site.
Assisting with the setup and breakdown of rooms for events, exams, or assemblies.
Ensuring the site is clean, secure, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Monitoring and reporting on building and equipment conditions, identifying areas needing attention.
Supporting the premises team in responding to emergencies or urgent tasks.This full-time role is available for an immediate start, offering the chance to work in a supportive and collaborative school environment.
About You
To be considered for this position, you must:
Have previous experience working within schools or the education sector in a similar role.
Be knowledgeable about site management, including maintenance, repairs, and health and safety compliance.
Demonstrate excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Be proactive, reliable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Hold a valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for one.Unfortunately, applications from candidates without school-based experience cannot be considered.
