Meridian Business Support is recruiting for an Inspector for a local electronics company based in Newcastle Under Lyme.
About the Role:
As an inspector you will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of products whilst following relevant policies and procedures. You will be inspecting Electrical Unit Assemblies and Cable Assemblies. Occasionally, you may be asked to help within other departments of production to assist with other inspection requirements.
 
Main responsibilities:

To visually inspect electrical unit assemblies, and cable assemblies
To inspect at 1st offs, work in progress and final inspection stages
To assist and support production technicians by discussing faults and findings
To manage and resolve inspection queries
To action rework as necessary
To maintain accurate process data/records/documentation associated with your work
To adhere to health and safety standards, quality standards, policies and proceduresEssential:
The ability to interpret technical specifications and information
Excellent attention to detail
Able to work effectively to deadlines
Proactive
A technical mind and ability to work with your hands
Good communication skills
Strong teamwork skills
Knowledge of relevant safety and quality standards and procedures

Location:
Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, UK
Hours: 39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday - 8.5 hours
Friday - 5 hours
Salary: £11.76 per hour. 
Holidays: 20 days plus Bank Holidays (increases by 1 day per year worked to 6 days extra)
