Hours of work:
Mon to Thurs 07:30 - 16:30
Fri 07:30 - 12:30

Interaction Recruitment are in partnership with an established Footwear Manufacturer in Northampton. The company is partnered with one of the leading fashion labels in the world, and this is a very exciting time to join them.

They are looking for experienced candidates with skillsets in any departments within their production process such as Closing, Lasting, Finishing, Clicking

Some of the role will be packing the high value products for their customers. This role does require great attention to detail and care.

There will also be opportunities to learn varied positions within the factory. If you have experience working on production lines / manufacturing environments then this could be a fantastic long-term opportunity for you.

Based in Northampton, the location is well serviced by public transport, but also has free car parking for employees.

Key responsibilities of the opportunities :

Closing:

Operating the sewing machinery and other closing equipment.
Expertly stitch and assemble the footwear with precision and accuracy.
Ensure all seams meet the quality standards.

Clicking:

Examine the high quality calf leather.
Have a good knowledge of leather.
Cut exact sections of shoe patterns to the best quality.
Select the best areas to cut of the hide.
Ensure minimal waste.

Lasting:

Using lasting machines and hand tools to achieve the desired shape.
Shaping the shoe by pulling and stretching the upper over the last.
Ensuring proper fit and alignment of the upper and sole.
