EMBS Engineering has been exclusively briefed to help acquire a talented Quality Manager to join a market-leading, well-established precision engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture of complex, intricate components for world-leading organisations.
With an international presence, our client has a business portfolio that includes Automotive / Motorsport, Formula 1 and Aerospace.

Following year-on-year growth, our client is looking to recruit a Quality Manager to join their existing talented team on a permanent basis.

The successful Quality Manager will be responsible for the further development and maintenance of all quality management systems with an emphasis on Quality Control of all operations.
The Quality Manager will report to the Operations Manager.
The other key focus area will be to drive continuous improvement within the business.

* Competitive salary: £50,000 - £55,000 p.a

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Ensuring department targets are set and objectives are met; quality, compliance and product conformances

* Implementing 5S processes and Continuous Improvement methodologies

* Maintaining a QMS aligned with ISO9001

* Working with and aligning the business for external audits by regulatory bodies

* Being comfortable in planning, initiating, and managing quality improvement projects

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

* Previous Quality Management experience within an SME environment

* Held roles and have exposure to working with Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace, Formula One, Defence precision metallic components

* Adhered to ISO standards as a minimum

* Experience of working to AS9100 or IATF16949 would be advantageous

* Ability to manage cross-functional problem-solving teams

* Experience leading audits and quality system certification processes

* Strong communication skills

* Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
