Teaching Personnel is on the lookout for resilient and passionate Teaching Assistants to join a full-time role supporting an SEND school in Ossett. 

Main Duties:

To be responsible for the safety of children by exercising adequate support and supervision
Support the Class Teacher with resources and general classroom activities 
Record pupil progress and behaviour
Personal care (feeding, changing, toileting)
Enhance the social, emotional and mental health of children
Requirements:

Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident

We do not accept those on skilled worker visas

Minimum of three months UK residency
Have an overseas criminal clearance (if applicable) or willing to apply for one
Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
Please ensure you have references available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
