Location. Poole, Dorset, UK
Starting salary. £26,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
Hours: The shift patterns are 9am-9pm 4 days on 4 days off covering 7 days a week

Your Role - Key responsibilities
As a Maritime Operations Support Assistant, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring client vessels are safe, compliant, and well-informed. Your responsibilities will include:
* Maritime security updates. Providing captains with real-time security information and updates.
* Client support. Handling client queries efficiently via email and phone to maintain high standards of service.
* Route monitoring. Monitoring vessel routes for safety, compliance, and risk management.
* Incident alerts. Issuing real-time maritime security incident alerts to ensure client awareness.
* Risk reporting. Preparing comprehensive Route Risk Reports to support operational decisions.
* Data management. Logging and maintaining accurate records to ensure operational efficiency.
What you bring - Required skills and experience
* Technical IT proficiency. Competent in using Microsoft Office applications and other digital tools.
* Attention to detail. Meticulous in monitoring, recording and reporting data accurately.
* Excellent communication skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities to liaise effectively with clients and teams.
* Maritime expertise preferred but not essential. Some experience in the maritime sector would be helpful, either at sea or in shore-based operations.
