Alternative Heat specialises in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of Off-site Prefabricated solutions for the commercial M&E sectors throughout Ireland, UK and mainland Europe. We wish to integrate Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our busy HR team in our fabulous Head Quarters based in Banbridge. You will work alongside our existing Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and Talent Acquisition Administrator to generate talent pipelines and lead our growth strategy. Role
You will effectively partner and lead discussions with Hiring Managers to take detailed role briefs, demonstrating a good understanding of market trends in the Construction and M&E sectors throughout the UK, IRE & Europe. You will identify, engage, and screen relevant candidates using a broad range of channels and techniques, relying on your experience to source high quality candidates effectively and proactively.

Location | Head Quarters – Banbridge, Co Down
Hours | 38 hrs per week. 8.00am to 5.00pm Mon to Thurs & 8.00am to 3.00pm Friday
Salary | Competitive depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Partner with the agreed Hiring Manager to provide strategic support and advice in relation to their departmental recruitment needs.
Source candidates and build talent pipelines via a multi-channel approach that ensures we hire the best candidate for each role, on time and in a cost-effective manner whilst enhancing our employer brand.
Manage the recruitment process and life cycle, including sourcing, assessments, interviews and offers.
Always deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
Where needed, manage the relationship with recruitment agencies to ensure a high quality candidate experience and sourcing execution.
Manage international recruitment via UKVI Skilled Worker Route.
Ensure recruitment database is updated and maintained in a timely manner.
Operate as an expert in industry best practice, monitoring new trends and opportunities to consistently raise standards and service.
Analyse and implement process improvements.
Produce and monitor Time to Hire and other recruitment KPI’s.
Build and maintain internal relationships within the HR team and across the business.
Develop and manage outreach relationships with schools and universities to identify potential future candidates, including attending, developing, and running careers days/events and expanding our apprenticeship programme.
Support the HR team with the company induction process.
Manage ad-hoc recruitment projects.
Any other duties deemed necessary by management.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
3 years or more recruitment experience with experience of managing multiple recruitment campaigns within a construction, manufacturing or engineering company.
Proven ability to manage high volume recruitment campaigns.
Demonstratable experience of ensuring “best practice” recruitment methods
Previous experience of on-line recruitment systems
Minimum 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above to include Maths and English
Desirable Criteria:
Relevant business-related degree or HR qualification
Experience of using pinpoint/LinkedIn Recruiter
