Merco Medical Staffing are looking for experienced and dedicated Paramedic Practitioners to join our established Client on a permanent basis in South East London.

Description of your Role:

You will be supporting the GP Home Visiting Service, (email address removed) (Virtual Ward) service and Clinical Streaming at University Hospital Lewisham Emergency Department.

The Paramedic Practitioner will be responsible for triaging patients, performing investigative procedures when required and sign-posting patients to the appropriate community service. You will bring your clinical assessment skills, ability to diagnose and treat patients, as well as your enthusiasm to the role.

Requirements:

Be flexible, respectful and compassionate with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team;
Have the desire to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions; 
Be passionate about providing access to care for patients;
Aspire to improve long term care for house bound patients with chronic conditions;
Have at least 5 years' experience post HCPC registration
FCP qualified or willing to work towards 

Working hours: 

37.5hrs per week
