Smile Education are recruiting for a school experienced pastoral administrator for a school in Rugby to start in January.
 
This role will be full time Monday – Friday 08.00-16.00

Duties and Responsibilities:

To work with the Pastoral team and be accountable to the Assistant Headteacher.
To ensure all pupil information regarding behaviour, safeguarding, emotional wellbeing and pastoral care is appropriately recorded and shared.
To provide pupils with information, guidance, and signposting for emotional needs and pastoral care as required.
To maintain pupil behaviour records on SIMS ensuring information is complete and ensuring reintegration meetings are arranged as requested.
To supervise and register pupils who are withdrawn from lessons who are working in the Pastoral Support area
To provide daily, weekly and termly behaviour reports from SIMS, in various formats as requested.
To organise lunch time and after school detentions using SIMS, ensuring pupils and parents are informed.
To collect work for pupils in the Behaviour Support Unit and pupils who have been fixed term excluded.
To maintain high standards of pupil uniform, by facilitating the removal of make-up and the issuing of spare uniform.
To organise Parents’ Evenings in conjunction with the relevant Head of Year and contribute to Open Evening. 
What to expect from applicants?
 
We would like applicants to have prior experience working in an pastoral administrator based role. Experience in using SIMS is essential.
