We’re seeking a talented Site Engineer to join a dynamic team working on a steel frame commercial build project in Crewe. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and be part of a landmark development.
About the Role:
As the Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of the project, ensuring accurate setting-out and smooth coordination of works. You’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality build while working alongside a skilled and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting-Out: Accurately establish site levels and positions for steel frame and associated works.
* Coordination: Liaise with the site team and subcontractors to ensure efficient delivery of tasks.
* Quality Assurance: Monitor and inspect construction work to maintain the highest standards.
* Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges on-site, providing innovative solutions.
* Documentation: Keep detailed records of works, surveys, and as-built drawings.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Proven experience as a Site Engineer on steel frame commercial build projects.
* Skills: Proficiency in setting-out with Total Stations and understanding of structural steel construction.
* Certifications: CSCS card required; SMSTS and First Aid are advantageous.
* Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset.
* Location: Based in or able to commute to Crewe
