Military Airworthiness Surveyor

Military Airworthiness Surveyor | Coningsby, Lincolnshire (hybrid) | Up to £300 per day (UMB)

We’re supporting a multi-billion-pound household name in engineering in their search for an experienced Military Airworthiness Surveyor. Could you be the person they are looking for?

Roles & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering Military Airworthiness Reviews on behalf of the MOD, working alone or as part of a team.
You will demonstrate compliance when delivering the outputs required by the Regulator and customer as required by current regulations and legislation.
You will strive to build sustainable relationships with customers.
You will be able to prepare detailed technical reports for both internal and external customers.
You will be prepared to work flexibly within the company's Military Airworthiness Team.
You will seek to identify future business opportunities.
You will ensure that a robust code of ethics underpins Mil AR service delivery; adopting in full the ethical principles published by the Engineering Council and Royal Academy of Engineering.
You will be expected to uphold the company's values at all times.

Candidate Essentials:

Able to commute across the East Midlands with occasional overnight travel (expenses covered).
Competence to make engineering airworthiness decisions.
Compliant with MRP RA 4972 (Military Airworthiness Review Surveyors – MRP Part M Sub Part I).
Knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation and the MAA Regulatory Publications (MRP).
Experience working on fixed-wing aircraft.
