Job Summary:
The IT Buyer will be responsible for procuring IT products, services, and software to support the company’s operational needs. This role involves negotiating with vendors, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality IT solutions. The IT Buyer will collaborate with IT, finance, and other departments to meet procurement goals, ensure budget adherence, and maintain cost-effective and efficient supply chains.
Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Sourcing:
* Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for IT hardware, software, and services.
* Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize value and supplier quality.
* Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing agreements with vendors, ensuring competitive and advantageous contracts.

Supplier Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key IT suppliers and service providers.
* Monitor supplier performance, manage contracts, and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
* Regularly review vendor performance, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Inventory and Budget Management:
* Collaborate with the finance and IT departments to ensure compliance with the budget and forecast procurement needs.
* Track inventory levels and anticipate supply needs to prevent delays or shortages.
* Review and process purchase orders, ensuring timely approvals and accurate documentation.

Compliance & Risk Management:
* Ensure adherence to all internal procurement policies, IT policies, and legal requirements.
* Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain.
* Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to anticipate and adapt to market shifts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Work closely with IT, finance, and operations teams to align procurement activities with company objectives.
* Provide IT and management teams with regular updates on supplier performance and industry trends
