About the role:
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate KS 2 Teacher Teacher to join our thriving one-form entry Jewish primary school in Barnet. The school caters to children from Nursery to Year Six and is consistently ranked among the top-performing schools in the area. In this role, you will lead a wonderful Year 4 class, you will be responsible for delivering a dynamic curriculum in core subjects such as reading, writing, and numeracy, alongside enrichment activities that enhance students' learning. The school also incorporates 20% Jewish studies within the curriculum, providing a unique cultural and educational experience. You will work with a supportive team, including a Teaching Assistant, to help students achieve their full potential while fostering the school’s core values of kindness, effort, aspiration, and tenacity. Application Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Previous experience teaching KS2, particulary year 4 is beneficial
* Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour and implement positive behaviour strategies.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire children of all abilities.
* Passionate about creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Manage classroom behavior effectively, especially with pupils who may be disruptive.
* Implement positive behaviour strategies and reward systems to encourage good behaviour and engagement.
* Monitor pupil progress, providing support where necessary, particularly for those who may struggle to focus.
* Build positive relationships with students, ensuring they feel supported and encouraged in their learning.
* Ensure a safe and structured learning environment, fostering a positive attitude toward schoolwork.
