Servicedesk Support Analyst

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum

Location: Spalding - Lincolnshire / Hybrid working (1-3 day working in office per week)

Contract Type: Perm

Business Area: Bakkavor Ltd - IT

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week - 7.5 per day (rotating shifts covering 8am to 6pm)

About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Service Desk Support Analyst to join our Information Technology team based in Spalding, Lincolnshire.

In this busy and exciting role, you will be responsible for first-line IT services and support to both internal and external customers - ensuring that service levels are achieved and expectations are met or exceeded.

In the event of incidents, restoring normal service operation as quickly as possible to minimise any adverse effect on business operations - will be top of your agenda.

Other key duties will include identifying risks for team owned services as defined in the service catalogue and supporting project delivery go lives.

Role Accountabilities
Monitoring the risk associated with existing and new/changed services
Enforcement of the current IS Standards and Policies
Delivering exemplary IT service to the highest professional standards
Contribution to continuous improvement of team
Being a strong advocate and ambassador for Group IS
Supporting continuous improvement opportunities
Knowledge article creations for IT colleagues and Customers
Third party service reviews and call management About you

You will have previous operational experience of working in an IT support environment with a good degree of technical knowledge.

Excellent communication, collaboration, decision making and analysing skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight timescales - will all be key.

Ideally, you will have prior experience within an IT Service Desk working to ITIL Practices.
