As the Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee product quality standards and ensure compliance with retail specifications. Working closely with the team, with growers, and the customer teams to maintain and improve quality assurance processes for incoming produce.

This pivotal role is essential to maintaining and enhancing product quality standards, ensuring that fresh produce meets all customer and legal requirements, and is delivered ensuring the highest standards of product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

* Inspect incoming produce to ensure compliance with customer quality specifications

* Accurately report findings to internal teams & colleagues and grower partners, addressing any issues that may affect product quality

* Oversee product packaging and labelling, ensuring compliance with legal and customer requirements

* Communicating effectively with internal and customer teams

* Conduct shelf-life testing and advise on stock usage priorities

* Conduct site visits to grower & packing locations to ensure specification compliance

* Meet and exceed established KPIs for product quality, efficiency, and communication

The role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented individual who can adapt processes as needed and is focused on contributing to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through efficient and effective work practices.

With strong experience in Quality Assurance within the Fresh Produce sector, key requirements include a keen eye for detail in assessing product quality and packaging, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and quality control is essential, along with a willingness to travel for site visits.
