About the Role
As a Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across key stages, inspiring students to explore the past, understand the world around them, and develop critical thinking skills. Working in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, you will play a key role in nurturing academic success and personal growth in your students.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in humanities subjects (e.g., history, geography, or religious studies) in line with the national curriculum.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure each learner achieves their full potential.
* Foster a love of learning through creative and innovative teaching methods.
* Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* A degree in a relevant humanities subject.
Experience:
* Previous experience teaching humanities subjects at secondary level is desirable.
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
Skills and Attributes:
