About the Role:

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will work within a committed department that aims to foster a love for mathematics while providing students with a strong foundation in the subject. The role involves planning, assessing, and delivering high-quality lessons, managing student behavior, and helping to achieve excellent academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding teaching in line with the national curriculum for mathematics.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
Provide feedback and guidance to students to promote learning and improvement.
Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.
Contribute to the development of resources and teaching strategies within the department.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a relevant degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for mathematics.
Experience teaching mathematics at secondary school level, though we are open to applications from newly qualified teachers (NQTs).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
