Salary: Scale 5, Point 11-15, £29,583 - £31,440 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week (includes 27 days holiday per year, plus overtime for optional weekend lettings)

This position offers the chance to play a crucial part in the school’s community by keeping their site safe and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct general maintenance and repairs to ensure the school’s facilities are well-kept and safe

* Assist with setting up and taking down equipment for school events and lettings

* Monitor the condition of the premises and report any issues requiring specialist repair

* Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment, both indoors and outdoors

* Perform daily checks to secure the school site, including locking and unlocking as required

* Respond to emergency calls and support out-of-hours requirements if needed (overtime available for weekend lettings)

Qualifications and Skills:

* Prior experience in maintenance and DIY

* Ability to work independently and take initiative
