About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join our dedicated team on a full-time, long-term basis. The role offers a competitive salary of £160-£210 per day and is set to start ASAP. This position is available due to the retirement of a long-serving member of staff, presenting an exciting opportunity to bring fresh energy and ideas to our KS1 team.
As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to a class of around 30 students. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the academic and social development of the children.
Application Requirements:
• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS).
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and pedagogical approaches.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• A passion for nurturing young learners and promoting their development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all students, including those with SEN.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student achievement and well-being.
• Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities.
