A highly reputable and design led Chartered Architectural Practice in Tadcaster are currently recruiting for an Architect to work on a series of Residential and Commercial projects, with several of years working on buildings that are either listed or heritage buildings or in Conservation areas.
You will be joining a 60-year established and robustly well run Chartered Practice with a purpose-built open plan studio space located in a delightful semi-rural setting within walking distance to a very nice market town and excellent local amenities and free parking. Culturally they have a fabulous mix of talented Architects (several are accredited in building conservation) designers and Technologists, many of these have been with the business for the majority of their career. Their project work is varied predominantly across the Residential Living, Ecclesiastical, Conservation & Heritage and Commercial sectors.
The successful Architect (with ideally 2-5 years post qualification experience) will be working on a varied and challenging portfolio of work, this role offers genuine variation and will combine a mixture of design, technical delivery and managing multiple projects on site therefor an Architect who is confident at running their own projects is required The successful Project Architect must have an interest in the Conservation & Heritage sectors, for the right candidate interested in advancing in this space, our client can offer progression routes and would fully support accreditation from the AABC or similar body.
Architect Requirements
Fully Qualified Architect with at least 3-5 years post qualification experience.
Previous demonstrable Job Running and site delivery experience.
Solid all round experience gained across all RIBA stages 0-7.
A background of delivering projects within a selection of the advertised core markets.
The ability to manage projects from design brief through to client handover.
Strong client facing ability and be comfortable chairing meetings.
Technically proficient in either the use of REVIT or AutoCAD software.
Career driven with ambition and a keen interest in career advancement.Salary depending on experience between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + Generous Benefits and the option of home working and flexible hours.
