We are seeking a Lead Scrub Theatre Practitioner with strong Urology experience to join our Theatre Team in one of the Leading private hospitals in London.

Contract: Permanent full time

Salary range: up to £50,000 per annum, with excellent benefits

Our theatres offer a dynamic and professional environment, equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is truly unmatched. You will be working with Complex surgeries and World Class Surgeons. With Seven theatres across 2 floors and 2 Recovery Suites, a robotic surgery suite, we provide a cutting-edge setting for surgical excellence

The Role Summary:

* As a Lead Theatre Practitioner you will play a crucial role in supporting the operational management of our theatre provision and team on a day-to-day basis.

* Leading the team

* operationally you’ll have a wide range of duties meaning no days will be the same

* you could be conducting a variety of audits.

* ensuring stock take & consumable requirements are fulfilled;

* investigating any accidents or complaints or providing clinical oversight and guidance.

Qualifications/Skills and Experience:

* Minimum of 4-5 years experience in Urology Theatre's.

* Experience in Robotics

* Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified with valid NMC Pin.

* Currently working as a Lead Scrub Nurse with the ability to lead a busy complex urology service.

* Strong knowledge of clinical practices

* Commitment to continuous professional development.

* Some management experience as you will lead a team of 6 people but training and development would be given.

* A collaborative team player, willing to step in and support colleagues when needed.
